Interview with Emcee Lynx (Beltaine's FIre)

Emcee Lynx is an independent hip hop musician from the San Francisco Bay Area of California. He is currently working with Beltaine's Fire, a folk-rap fusion band, and they are set to release their third album titled "Anarchitechture" this summer.

Lynx has given away his music for free online since 2001 has never made money off it, instead prefering to use his albums as fundraising tools to support movements for social change. He's played hundreds of shows, been on over a dozen compilations and mixtapes all over the world, and had the Anarchist Black Cross and other similar groups doing support work for political prisoners reprint & sell his albums as fundraisers in Germany, Russia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Indonesia, Chile, Spain, France, the UK, and the USA.

Debra Di Blasi owns Jaded Ibis Press, a multimedia company producing fine and unual works of literature, art, and music. The company takes a unique position in the publishing industry, providing an outlet for creativity rarely supported by big publishers, as well as making an effort to be as sustainable as possible in their practice. Interview with Matt Gauck

Matt Gauck is an artist based in Portland OR. Matt draws and paints with a DIY perspective, uses second hand materials, bikes a lot, and his personal lifestyle choices & beliefs can be found amongst the images he produces. In addition to his own artwork, he has worked with bands, friends, and non-profit organizations on a number of album covers, t-shirt designs, logos, and flyers. When not drawing and painting, Matt can be found working with Microcosm Publishing. We are excited we were able to interview him!
